Diverse Supplier Link collects a limited amount of personal and/or business information on the Site to enable Suppliers to more easily apply to become vendors to Buyers of their services and allow them to connect and collaborate with others on potential opportunities.
This Policy applies to the Diverse Supplier Link website only. It does not apply to the websites of any Buyers or any other sites the Site may link to.

Collection of Personal Information
You must register on this Site in order to use certain of the Site’s online services and functions. If you just want to browse the Site, registration is optional.
When you register to use Diverse Supplier Link, you will be required to provide and we will collect basic information such as your name and e-mail address.
When you complete a Supplier profile, you will be asked to give us core business and certification-related information relating to your organization and its employees, including information about yourself and others within your organization that Buyers require for supplier consideration.
For the Suppliers that complete a profile, the following data elements from the profile will be visible to other Suppliers that have completed profiles when the Supplier is logged in: Company's Full Name, Doing Business as Name, Last Updated (last updated date for profile), Year Established, Website, Main Industry (NAICS Code), Type of Business, Number of Employees (range only), Average Revenue for last 3 Years (range only), Owner's Ethnic Origin, Qualifying Diversity Certifications, Company Overview and Certification details (e.g., Certification Type, Agency Code, Agency Name, and Expiration Date).
A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user’s computer for record-keeping purposes. Diverse Supplier Link uses “session ID cookies” on the Site. We use session cookies to make it easier for you to navigate the Site. A session ID cookie expires when you close your browser. Your web browser allows you to control and limit cookies on your computer. If you reject cookies, you may still use the Site, but your ability to use some areas or functions of the Site may be limited.
Purpose and use of Personal Information
We use the information you provide at the time of registration to give you access to restricted content on Diverse Supplier Link, including Supplier profile forms and other content of interest. The purpose of the Diverse Supplier Link is to identify diverse suppliers for potential corporate partnerships. The information you provide, including your profile information, will also be made available to the Buyers.
Diverse Supplier Link has feedback functionality on the Site that allows you to submit comments, suggestions, or bugs found. We may collect your name or username and email address in order to follow up with you or thank you for a suggestion.
We may also use your registered name and email address to provide you with significant announcements about Site functions or services that you are registered to use, about this Site, about any user account you may create, about fulfillment of a specific transaction that you have requested, or about other significant developments that may affect your use of the Site. You cannot opt-out of this kind of email.
If you provide personally identifiable information changes (such as an email address), we will provide a way to update your personal data. This can usually be done on your profile page.
Consent and Sensitive Information
The information provided can contain personal information related to ethnic origin or racial origin, which is considered as “sensitive data” under certain data privacy legislations. Suppliers revealing such sensitive data must explicitly agree to the processing of this sensitive data in order to register.
In addition, you shall have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing such data based on consent before its withdrawal. Sharing of Personal Information and Anonymous Data
The information you provide on your profile page may be shared with Buyers. Once this information is in the custody of these organizations, it becomes subject to each organization's privacy policies.
Buyers may in turn decide to share this information within their organizations and with their business partners or suppliers to enable you to become part of their supply chains. The Buyers, and any other entity within these organizations who receive your information, will not use your information for sales or marketing purposes, and will not sell or lease such information.
Likewise, you agree not to sell, lease, or share/distribute for the purpose of selling or leasing, any information you may receive or access through your use of the Site in reference to other Suppliers.
Please be aware that in certain circumstances, information concerning your use of the Site (including but not limited to, posted User Content, registration information and network records) may be subject to disclosure to government agencies pursuant to judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process. We may also share your information to protect the rights or property of our Owner, our business partners, suppliers or clients, and others when we have reasonable grounds to believe that such rights or property have been or could be affected.
Diverse Supplier Link may track the Site to analyze trends, administer the Site, track your actions and use of the Site, record transactions, and gather demographic information for aggregate use. Such analysis is not linked to personally identifiable information. We may share aggregated demographic and usage information with Buyers or other partners. This aggregated information is not linked to any personal or business information that can identify any individual person or business.
Your Rights and Remedies
Your data is stored on this Site and subject to the uses defined herein so long as you remain registered on the Site. You may edit your information and Site profile at any time. Should you be unable to edit your information, contact firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
Notify email@example.com to remediate any of the circumstances listed below. Within 30 days, the Administrator will delete all your data and send a confirmatory email to that effect.
• You no longer intend to use the Site and want your data to be deleted.
• You withdraw consent for use of your personal data as described herein.
• You seek to selectively restrict/modify processing of your data. (The Site cannot accommodate idiosyncratic requests for processing of a registrant’s data.) Such request will be remediated by deleting registrant’s data.
You may review your data at any time while logged into the Site. Should you be unable to view some/all of your data or seek to transport your data to another site, you may request an electronic copy of your data by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org. Allow up to 30 days for response. Data will be provided in raw form and no guarantee of data portability is offered.
Should you be unable to remediate or address data privacy concerns by contacting email@example.com or the Data Administrator as detailed above, you have the right to file a complaint with a supervising authority. In the U.S. the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and other overlapping authorities may have jurisdiction depending on the nature of the issue.
